On the sin of pride....
The New York Mets just won their 6th straight game and are now 7-1 for the start of the season. You would have to go back about 20 years to find as good a beginning. They currently have the best record in the NL East, the National League period and oh yea... Major League Baseball. If it sounds like I am gloating, there is a reason for that. I am. We the faithful have had very little cause for prideful boasting in the last five years, and I find it a refreshing experience. On a side note I also noticed that the other team from New York (their name escapes me at the moment) has managed to crawl out of the bottom of the American League East. Good job guys. ;-)
