Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong has been charged by the NC State Bar Association with withholding exculpatory evidence from the defense in the Duke Lacrosse case. This is in addition to other ethics charges dealing with the case. He has also been accused of making false and misleading statements to the court which constitute a ''systematic abuse of prosecutorial discretion ... prejudicial to the administration of justice,'' according to the complaint. If found guilty he could be sanctioned or disbarred.
