Rush for relics causes minor crisis in the Vatican
Since news got out primarily via Rocco Palmo and other bloggers that the Vatican was giving away relics of Pope +John Paul Magnus of blessed memory, the Vatican has been buried in requests for pieces of his cassocks and other small items associated with the late pontiff. The Vatican office responsible for the promotion of his cause for canonization reports that they have completely exhausted their postal budget. They are now asking for a small contribution to help defray the expenses of shipping.
