+Benedict XVI Uses Extraordinary (Tridentine) Rite
CWN reports that since his election Pope +Benedict XVI has routinely used the older Missal of +John XXIII, often mistakenly referred to as Tridentine, when celebrating his private Masses. Although the Pope uses the Missal of +Paul VI (Novus Ordo) in public celebrations CWN says the Pope prefers the older Missal for his private liturgies. This is quite interesting...
If he's serious about bringing his church back into Orthodoxy he should do it publicly.
ReplyDeleteVir Speluncae Orthodoxae,
ReplyDeleteI think there is a great deal more than the liturgy which keeps the Roman Church from Orthodoxy. That said a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step.
