I am back... sort of

After an unexpectedly long delay I have rejoined the 21st century. That said I have to confess that I rather enjoyed my enforced time away from the internet. I had no idea how much time was consumed by blogging and it was a joy to be able to find the freedom to catch up on some reading or get out and enjoy a walk in the fresh (albeit very hot) air. I hope to catch up on things over the next few days but it's now August and I also find myself coveting a little time away from the keyboard for the traditional summer pastimes. Thus posts will be sporadic as things come up. Also Fr. David is taking a much deserved break with his family, so he will not be posting for at least the rest of the week.
