May the Lord protect and uphold His Beatitude Archbishop Christodoulos, through the prayers of the Immaculate Theotokos and ever Virgin Mary, and all the Saints, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
I hope nobody will say "this is God's punishment on Christodoulos for being an Ecumenist!"
I prefer to think that the Archbishop's sufferings are, in Catholic terms, "reparative suffering" so that all may be one!
Carlos,
I am not an individual who sees the hand of God (or the devil) in every misfortune. His Eminence has cancer. Saints must die as surely as sinners. The spiritual state of someone's soul is outside my purview. To speculate on such things is to presume upon a knowledge of the judgment of God.
Christ is born!
John
