His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia reposed last Sunday, fittingly on the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy. His accomplishments were many but it is likely he will be remembered for his instrumental role in restoring unity to the long divided Russian Church.May his memory be eternal!

Truly he was a Christian without guile. Having prayed for the repose of his soul, I have now begun to pray to him as a new intercessor.
