In addition to being Easter Sunday yesterday kicked off the 2010 baseball season. And for at least a day all was right in the world. The Yankees lost 9-7.
for at least a day all was right in the world: the Yankees lost
You got that right. I know you're a Mets fan, and therefore more against the Yankees than for the Red Sox, but we have this in common, that there are few things in baseball sweeter than beating the Yankees.
Go Sox!
PS -- I know you are a Central Valley California boy. How do you come to be a Mets fan? My sports loyalties have always been geographically defined. I lived in Oakland for 20 years, and was always an A's fan in those years. After we moved to New England I resisted following the Red Sox for a few years, but I got sucked in and now I'm hooked.

I am originally from New York. My domicile may change. My loyalties do not. :-)
