If you get the chance, GO AND VISIT! My wife and I made a pilgrimage day there some years ago, and it was an amazing place.
Yes, it is very lovely indeed--and so is their incense which I've used for years.
Holy Cross is not only loved by visitors from far and wide, but also by those of us that live in its back yard. I would not be Orthodox without this monastery and our parish is ever richer due to our proximity to it.
Such wonderful folklore! Hard to tell that this is in America, it really, really looks like Russia or Greece! Wonderful.
