To our host I will point out that officially, as a protestant enterprise, Anglicanism only acknowledges two sacraments. However, due to horrendously bad theology various ministers undermine the validity of the two remaining. However, I think most revisionists in the Episcopal thing would acknowledge the "sacredness" (forgive me) of abortion. The uptake of all that is that abortion is their only sacrament.
To Archer: how so? Anglicanism has no mechanism for excommunication.
I am floored at the slip of tongue that this High Priestess of Abortion committed: "that her fetus will not LIVE..." Hello, I thought the whole point was that it was not alive, therefore excising it was not taking a life. But here, truth manages to squeak through her otherwise vile lips and make itself known: The fetus is alive - it is not a lump of the mother's tissue, it has a life to live.
I was an Episcopal clergyman; I took the same "vows" as this woman at the time of my ordination. In neither the Baptismal Service nor the Ordinal do I recall anything that even implied that I was obligated to assist minors in the murder of their unwanted babies, let alone without the knowledge or consent of their parents.
EDS (where I once worked) was bad enough before. But the choice of this woman as Dean and President has demolished even what remained of faith, hope, and love -- at least in any sense in which St Paul might recognize them.
Well, Ragsdale has been excommunicated by quite a few Episcopal bishops I know.

Shame, shame, shame.
