Yep... it's over
OK. The GOP's long and bruising battle for the presidential nomination is pretty much over. With Romney's decisive victories tonight he has moved from front runner status to being the nominee presumptive of the Republican Party. No, he hasn't locked down all of the delegates yet. But there is no longer any reasonable doubt that he will do so. Could anything stop him? Yes. Death, incapacitation or a serious scandal could throw a wrench into the works. Otherwise no.

ReplyDeleteI'm not a registered Republican anymore so that's not an issue for me. But I understand the sentiment. I will likely do a write in for Ron Paul come November.
ReplyDeleteI'll vote for Gary Johnson in all likelihood. But since I'm not really well represented in the race by any candidate, I might protest by writing in a name which encapsulates my thoughts on Romney v. Obama:
