I just saw a Washington Free Beacon article that hits about all of the same high notes as the WaPo piece, without the the heavy bias. http://freebeacon.com/culture/guns-weed-and-bitcoin-among-the-free-staters-at-porcfest/
By the way, how do you think Orthodox Christians would be received at such an event?
For about a decade, WashingtonPost.com was my homepage. But after they ran a series trying to persuade us that Elena Kagan was a closet conservative, I started thinking about alternatives. After they admitted treating opponents of same-sex marriage unfairly - but justified it as the right thing to do - I dropped WaPo. I return occasionally for local weather and TV listings - or when someone sends me a link like this one.

Orthodoxy is sufficiently exotic and far, far removed from the levers of power, so they would be well-received.
