I think our Antiochian bishops tend to have wealthy or generous families, because otherwise I don't think they'd have enough for a life commensurate with their station.
There should be a happy medium between a small condo and the Tsar's palace which apparently the Russians can't find.
This could be a lot of anti-Russian propaganda. Even if the Patriarch is corrupt, it doesn't affect the faithful. After all, at some point he'll answer to God.
Are we to assume that this is Tsarskoe Selo?
