Black Ribbon Day


The anniversary of the infamous Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact (August 23, 1939) is recognized in most of the EU and many other countries as a day for commemoration of the victims of Communist and Fascist oppression.

  1. It bothers me that so many Russian people regard Stalin's Alliance with Hitler as wise move. The world knows about the Nazi atrocities, but Stalin killed millions more than Hitler, because he was in power longer.
    I've said this before, but it's worth repeating; Stalin made a deal with Hitler and got burnt, Franco of Spain used Hitler and managed to avoid following him into the war.I'd say that makes Franco wiser than Stalin.
