Orthodox Priest Suspended for Attending Jan 6 Trump Rally

Details.

For the record, I haven't seen any suggestion he was part of the violent attack on Congress that followed. 

Update: The diocese is now claiming that the suspension is for other, undisclosed, reasons.

    The priest should have been at his church celebrating the Feast of Theophany on that day!

      I agree. Instead, he marches side by side with a nutcase Mormon dressed up like a Roman gladiator.
      Don't get me wrong . I agree with much of what Fr. Mark stands for. But being in church, celebrating Our Lord being baptized is more important than a rally.

    Agreed. I think that it is proper for clergy to go to the streets to advocate for mercy or justice, but not to advocate for a particular party.

    He should have blessed the protesters, then left to celebrate the Feast of Theophany!
