A patriotic, sincere, but foolish young woman who believed she was participating in a peaceful, valid protest was killed by an incompetent police officer with a long history of problematic behavior. So yes, while hardly a heroine, she is entitled to the funerary honors withheld by a corrumpt, petulant administration.
Sorry. Attempting to violently overthrow the government and Constitution of the United States is disqualifying.
