The Pontificator is Ordained

Al Kimel of Pontifications was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest today. This is the culmination of his long journey from the Episcopal Church. He will exercise his ministry under the pastoral provision for former Anglican clergy granted by HH +John Paul Magnus of blessed memory. I hope that pictures of this joyous event will soon be posted. May God grant Fr. Alvin Kimel many many years!

This is a quick posting. I have just stopped at my office on my way home from the ordination and the subsequent meal, and you have a note of it up already.

I sent Fr. Al a note of congratulations myself. I'm glad he's back at an altar. I love the drawing you posted. Perfect.

Is the infamous Archbishop Law still in charge of the pastoral provision?

I believe Archbishop Myers of NJ who ordained him is now running the pastoral provision. Law lives in Rome now and has little to do with the American Church anymore.
