Congresswoman Giffords has been shot in AZ

This is breaking news. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) was shot outside a grocery store in Arizona. No word on her condition.

Update: Early reports suggest as many as a dozen people may have been shot. Rep. Giffords is said to have been shot at close range.
