AXIOS!

To Metropolitan Tikhon, formerly Archbishop of Philadelphia and Eastern PA, who was today elected as the fourth Metropolitan and Primate of the OCA.

Axios! Axios! Axios!

God grant him many years!

He is worthy!

Well....He's just as worthy as Theodosius, Herman or Ireney. That is, as worthy as anyone finishing second in the voting. I'm sure anyone reading this blog would be happy to acknowledge President Gore?
I know several senior OCA clerics who stopped going to councils and laymen who chose not to be in a position to vote. Why bother? This is papal politics. 1000 votes, let's say, and about 10 bishops? Guess which votes *count*?
