Not Your Typical Christmas Ad

It's popping up all over the web, but if you haven't already seen it, here is the Christmas advertisement from the British supermarket chain Sainsbury's. An appallingly cynical marketing ploy and a new low.

My eyes are so wet I can hardly see. God bless Sainsbury's for a truly remarkable advertising accomplishment. So appropriate for the centenary.

Basically a rehash of Paul McCartney's "Pipes of Peace" video from thirty years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7ErrZ-ipoE
