Thank You

Many thanks to everyone for your kind words and prayers. It's been pretty tough but we are coping, mostly I think because we have been so busy. I had no idea that dying was so complicated. Its after the funeral that I am dreading most. Coming back to this empty house, and having to live here for a while until the affairs are all settled is going to be brutal. Im not sure there is enough whiskey to get me through that first night.

I'm sorry. I think it's the aftermath that can be the hardest. When you have done all the flurry of things you have to do, and done them kind of in a haze, and then everyone goes home and you are left with the "clean-up" and feeling very empty.

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve and seek to cope with all the myriad things that must be done.

Your Dad of blessed memory was just two years older than I am now. I am very sorry for your loss.
