An appeal

In the event of Holy Trinity's failure, does Moscow have an alternative plan? I'd favor an OCA acquisition as an alternative.

Despite acknowledging the fanfare surrounding the ROCOR/Patriarchate union a few years ago, I'm more interested in seeing the OCA's and ROCOR's hashing out their differences to produce a unified American Russian-legacy jurisdiction.
