NY Times Posts anti-Russian Orthodox Hit Piece

There really is no other way to describe it. The lack of balance and naked journalistic bias is breathtaking, even for the Times. How dare a church that doesn't support the pan-sexual dogma of the enlightened West build churches and preach conservative values in... FRANCE! Reading the article one can almost feel the editorial board on the verge of a collective stroke.

There are more and more and more of these articles being produced by USG controlled outlets every day, attacking not just Russia but the holy Orthodox Church as well, along with Christian values. We should however take heart, they would not be writing such filth if their precious Liberal world was not in grave danger of collapsing around them, revealing the cold hard reality they have sought to shut away from sight. They are dying, their artificial civilization of hedonism is killing itself.

Well, I read the article and I came to the conclusion that the piece was actually pretty good. What made the author clutch his pearls led me to think, "Right. So what's the problem?"

The red-baiting in the NYT and the rest of the MSM has reached a fever pitch that should scare the bejeezus out of all of us (not just us Orthodox). The last time Washington played poke-the-bear, the planet was only saved from nuclear catastrophe by sheer accident. But with the current "Putin is the Antichrist" mania amongst the liberal good-thinkers in the US, it looks like we are rushing towards the cliffs of disaster yet again. God preserve us.
