I had that recording by Theodore Bikel. I had it back when I was 18 and became Orthodox. I know "The Vicar of Bray" is satire. I agree with the line about kings being God's annointed. I didn't feel that way back then, but I do now. People ask," How can you be a monarchist?" My answer is that I am Orthodox, therefore I am a Monarchist.
