Women's Ordination & the Creep of Liberal Protestantism

The public embrace of this heresy is rampant in the Roman Catholic Church. But although not as widespread, its advocates are becoming more and more open in the Orthodox Church with almost no correction from our bishops.

Eighteen years ago when I converted to the Orthodox Church from Protestantism, this news/discussion was not one I thought would ever be had here. That a traditional Orthodox person would be condemned/derided as 'conservative' almost makes me want to cry. I cannot tell you how disconcerting and disheartening this is. I predict that, in the not too distant future, we will see a transgendered 'male' being ordained a priest. And then where will we be? Where will we go?

We need to read and study the Book of Judges to understand, clearly, where we are and heed the prophetic voices. Our hierarchy needs to pay attention and get a spine.

We might have to take the Church underground, as it were. We should read the Fr. Arseny books.
