Pagan rituals used in Catholic bishop's consecration

The consecration of San Marcos de Arica Bishop Moisés Atisha, 51, Chile, in January 2015 included worshipping Inca idols like Pachamama (earth), Tata Inti (sun) and Malkus (mountain spirits).

A carpet with coca leaves, seeds and bottles served as “altar”. Many bishops participated in the pagan ritual in chasubles and miter.

Among them was the Apostolic Nuncio to Chile, Archbishop Ivo Scapolo, who is now Nuncio to Portugal.

Also present was modernist Santiago Cardinal Ezzati, 78, whom Francis first left in place but then abandoned in March 2019 due to the abuse hoax.

Unbelievable. The Catholic Church is rapidly sliding into open apostasy.

Huzzah!

An unknown number of Catholics (lay people?) appear to have had enough with the officially sanctioned paganism associated with the Amazonian Synod ... and expropriated some of the idols and threw them into the Tiber!

An Episcopal Iconostasis

In case there remained any doubt. See also the favorable write up at the The Episcopal Cafe. Every time I think I have reached a point where I am impervious to any further shock from them, they prove me wrong. Words fail me.

Just in case there was any doubt

Members of Mother Grove Goddess Temple will celebrate at 7 p.m. Saturday with A Breath of Appalachian Spring: A Ritual in Celebration of the Spring Equinox, in the parish hall of the Episcopal Cathedral of All Souls in Biltmore Village.

Saturday's event is open to all faith traditions, said Byron Ballard, wiccan priestess and a member of the temple. Mother Grove “isn't a wiccan group, though some of us are wiccans,” she said.

If you are an Episcopalian, don't start walking for the exit. RUN!
