A massive explosion and fire in San Bruno California has killed at least four people, seriously injured more than 50 others and leveled or burned dozens of homes. Full coverage here. Reports now indicate that complaints of a gas leak were made to PG&E days ago. Needless to say it's still early and details are fuzzy. But it does appear safe to make one prediction. Between this catastrophe which will likely be laid at the door of PG&E and the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, blamed largely on BP, it's shaping up to be a banner year for trial lawyers.
Prayers for those affected.
