Pakistan to deport bin Laden's wives, adult daughters

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Three of Osama bin Laden’s wives and two of his adult daughters were convicted by a Pakistani court Monday of illegally entering the country and sentenced to two more weeks of detention, followed by deportation to their home countries.

The five women, who were formally arrested March 3, will receive credit for time they have already served under house arrest in an upscale section of Islamabad. They were among 16 people detained in the U.S. raid on bin Laden’s villa in the garrison town of Abbottabad last May.
