This Council as presently envisioned is now dead. It is quite possible, maybe even probably, that at some point there will be a meeting. But there are going to have to be major changes/fixes before that happens.

It should be noted that no Patriarchal website, neither patriarchia nor mospat are reporting a decision. Other news sources, TASS & Sputnik, note that Met Hilarion is not taking part in the drafting of the closing statement.
I expect that Russia may go, but will not ascribe "binding" authority to the Council
According to Pravmir, there will be a meeting of Moscow's Holy Synod on Monday to decide what to do.
