Yep. That's why the Episcopalians are doing so much better than the Romans.

He's exactly right. But then I suppose you think 200 years out of date is too recent.
Actually Rome is about 1000 years out of date. They need to restore married clergy. The Orthodox need to bag the failed experiment of the celibate, "monastic" episcopacy. That's long overdue as well.

Yes, things have worked out so well for the rest. Thousands of churches with conflicting views and endless division. I am taking the long-view .
Just to be clear, this is the guy who killed off the 1500 year old Ambrosian Rite preferring to merge it with the "principles of Vatican II."
May he rest in peace and be gifted with the mercy of God, who is eternally "out of date," so to speak.
It's media bias again. If you read the whole interview. The Cardinal is calling for religious revival, not for abolishing unpopular teachings.
