Ron Paul chairs hearings on monetary policy 9-21-2012



Dr. Paul chairs congressional hearings on monetary policy with Jim Grant and Lew Lehrman as principal witnesses. The Democratic members of the committee didn't even bother to show up.

Well, it is sort of like debating the benefits of a return to monarchy, or an investigation into who faked the moon landing, etc.

Whether one agrees with fractional reserve banking and fiat money, it's accepted everywhere as the standard except on the fringes.

Sometimes the fringe has been right. Most often the fringe is wrong.

Not so long ago the Republicans would have walked out, too.
