When the gerrymandering, pacs, lobbyists and poll rules make it doggone impossible to unseat a pol and roughly 90+ % are returned to office each election, we have to wonder whether in fact we really have a democratically elected group. When less than a 1/3 vote, half of that means roughly a 1/6th of eligible votes are determining the circumstance - cause that's all it takes - then I think your case of blaming the voters misses a systemic problem. I live in Pravda land, see it every day, grew up with most of these guys... blame the other guy if you want. But giving yourself a pass for accepting a corrupted system.; 10/09/2013 9:27 PM
