I've grown up hearing many people over the years panic, most especially last fall. And I wonder what it'll really take for real collapse to happen. I wonder just how far we can manipulate fate.

Machiavelli wasn't so much interested in man dominating man as he was in man dominating fate. What fruit will his legacy bear out here? Is it really about to end? I do not mean the world, but the great experiment.
