Due to an ongoing health crisis in the family, blogging will be 'on and off' as time and circumstances permit for the foreseeable future. I also beg your indulgence if I am slow in responding to emails. New posts will appear below this notice.

Quote of the day...

What if you were the reason a person refused to come back to Christ? What if your self-righteous, judgemental, dogmatic, theologically correct attitude repelled a soul from accepting Church teaching, from reconciling with the Church, from faith itself? What if they were just on the edge of conversion and one of your contemptuous sneers, caustic remarks, or hostile snubs drove them away? That is one aspect of what Jesus is talking about when he warned against "scandalizing one of these little ones".

Must be an RC problem. Orthodox are renowned for their warm and caring solicitude.

Anonymous,
If you're talking about the Ochlophobist, that man put a post about me on his blog along with a "donate" button so his readers could send me money. (I'm unemployed and fighting for my UI). Owen White does not know me personally, but he showed a gracious, generous Christian spirit. He might not always be "nice," but he's obviously good, and I can deal with his "touchy" personality if he's the kind of person to go out on a limb for a total stranger. And, as you can see, that's exactly the kind of person he is.

Just a quick reminder. Comments should be on topic and avoid Ad Hominem.

Out of curiosity, what was the anon comment?

If this really resonates with you, I'm sure many readers would like to understand how it is you can in good conscience link to Owen's blog. That's not a criticism or an attack: it's an honest question.

It was an off topic shot at Owen White.
