Breaking News: North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Il Is Dead

Various sources are reporting that North Korea's Stalinist dictator Kim Jong Il has died.  It is really hard to feel any sympathy at all in this situation.  May God have mercy on the monster.

UPDATE: It has been confirmed.

The issues on that peninsula are deeper than the simplistic version we're spoon fed here. May God have mercy on us all.

From what I have read, the South Koreans don't want the expense of reintegrating an impoverished, insane hermit-kingdom. Eventually, I expect China's millions of surplus males will just move in.

Korean men won't stand for that. They are rabidly protective of their women.

John, you are a bigger person than I am then. I can't bring myself to say prayers for the monster. I am doing all I can just to refrain from tap dancing on his grave.

The Bible deals pretty harshly and graphically with tyrants and evil people, so I wonder if it's really so wrong to feel relief when such evil is vanquished. Think of all the innocent people who may now live or have a chance of life now that he's gone. Perhaps we should thank God for their deliverance from KJI and continued blessings on the country's future. But then again, I submit that I may be wrong...

North Korea is a hereditary monarchy to which its people appear slavishly devoted. Nothing will change absent mass starvations which the Western world will not abide. This is why Africa remains a perennial basket case presided over by corrupt chieftains.

Therefore, they will be slaughtered by atheist Han Chinese supremacists. There is a long historical blueprint for this sort of thing.

Now we have to prepare for the rantings of his mentally ill son who is going probably start off with threats and launching a few rockets south. Gotta love it!
I am surprised the military doesn't just take over and try to improve things to get the people on their side.
I worked with a Korean lady once who told me often that if there is going to be an Armageddon, it will start in Korea not israel.

I don't think the Chinese are going to be slaughtering anyone for the time being. They're too busy slaughtering the US economy and probably not interested in provoking a bloodbath when they can continue using North Korea as a foil to US/Japanese interests in the region.

Western worldwide hunger interventions are simply cover for other ops in which our noses are stuck in places they don't belong. We should get our military out of there and let China, Japan and Korea settle it out.
