A van containing President Obama's teleprompter and lectern were stolen from a Virginia hotel parking lot on Monday, according to NBC12 in Richmond.Read the rest here.
The truck was parked at the Virginia Center Commons Courtyard Marriott near Richmond before the president's scheduled Wednesday appearance in Chesterfield, the station reported. In addition to the teleprompter, $200,000 worth of audio equipment and presidential seals mounted on Obama's podium were inside the stolen vehicle.
Good grief! Someone needs to be called on the carpet over this.

News outlets are reporting that Obama is utterly speechless over the matter...
I'll supply him with his cheesy-ass prol accent, and he can supply the mouth movement.
I hope someone is watching Craigslist and ebay for these. I wonder what the opening bid is for a presidential seal? :)
