Julian Assange’s bail backers told to pay up

Julian Assange's high-profile backers have been warned they face jail unless they pay £93,500 within a month in what has been called a “unique and wholly exceptional” case.

Julian Assange’s friends and supporters have been ordered to pay a court £93,500 after he skipped bail to seek asylum inside the Ecuadorian Embassy.
