How to shave with a straight razor

For the record I don't use a straight razor. If I feel the need for a super close shave, I will let the barber do it.

I love the scene in Rounders where Ed Norton tells Matt Damon he's going to take him somewhere to make him feel like a man. The implication is that they're going to a brothel, but they actually go to a barbershop for a shave.

I moved away from the one barber I trusted to do it, so I haven't had one in eight years or so.
