Migrants crisis: Slovakia 'will only accept Christians'

Slovakia says it will only accept Christians when it takes in Syrian refugees under a EU relocation scheme.

The country is due to receive 200 people from camps in Turkey, Italy and Greece under the EU plan to resettle 40,000 new arrivals.

Interior ministry spokesman Ivan Netik said Muslims would not be accepted because they would not feel at home.

The UN's refugee agency (UNHCR) called on countries to take an "inclusive approach" to relocation.

But Mr Netik denied the move was discriminatory and said it was intended to ensure community cohesion.

So, Slovakia hasn't the right to decide who is allowed into the country and who isn't?

"And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God." Ruth 1:16.

That seems a good enough mantra for refugees and this craze for mass migration nowadays.

This sounds like an excellent policy, one which we will never see in the the PC United States. I would limit immigration one step further and limit it to Christians of European ancestry. Period!

"I would limit immigration one step further and limit it to Christians of European ancestry. Period!"

Why?

Christiniaty was born outside of Europe... and Jesus, the apostles and many saints of the Church were of non-European ancestry.

Homogeneity binds people, therefore creating a more productive culture working for the common good.

So, Joseph and Mary, very poor and with a baby, escaping from religious persecution (Matt. 2:16), wouldn't be accepted in your beloved country because it is more important to maintain the productivity of a homogeneous culture?

A homogeneous culture may be a good thing. But, if Christianity is a valid criterion, it must be our only criterion. So, I don't think it makes sense to reject fellow Christians because they are of non-European ancestry.

Ricardo, at least Jesus, Mary and Joseph went back to Nazareth. The waves of migrants flooding southern Europe have no intention of returning.

The West's enemy is Christianity, not Islam. They will help Islam at every turn, while sentencing Christians to death. God preserve Slovakia.
