FWIW, my wife knew a lot of kids who went to the People of Praise- affiliated Trinity Schools and they were deemed weird and crazy within the ethnic, devout Catholic circles she grew up in.

And who would know better the dark side of an org than former members? And, of course, former member are former for a reason, whether one agrees with their criticism or not.
