Brexit

It's over. But the usual suspects are still whingeing and dreaming.

It is not over, it is only just beginning.

The interesting question is how long before England and Wales seeks re-admission. Scotland, when it gains independence, will get fast-track re-admission and it will not be long before lower standards of living south of that border alter the political balance considerably.

England and Wales want to be England and Wales. Scotland wants to be like Ireland, a branch bank for the US and EU to fund its primary industry of methadone clinics and Scottish, like Irish, will be for the tourists.

It remains unclear whether Spain would or would not veto Scottish admission.
