To put it mildly, Rod is can be a bit of a crank. Cranks may have a point from time to time - even a stopped clock is right twice a day, but that doesn't mean they're fun at parties or have an audience or serve much more than a static purpose... like pointing out problems no one really knows what to do with... other than that whatever the bomb thrower's proposed solution (usually throwing a bomb), "Well... that's not going to work."
