Alice Linsley Entering Orthodoxy

Confirming wide spread speculation, the former Episcopal priest Alice Linsley has announced that she will enter Orthodoxy via the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese. A statement from her to this effect was posted on Drell's Descants, a conservative Episcopal blog. This does not come as a surprise since she has made her attraction to Orthodoxy clear on many occasions most notably to me in some of her posts over at Pontifications. Her statement is worth reading as yet another indictment of the insanity going on over in ECUSA. Below her statement are comments posted almost all of which are sympathetic. This includes one from another ECUSA priest who says he worshipped in the Orthodox Church directly opposite the convention center where ECUSA is meeting last Sunday. He too indicated his intention to enter Orthodoxy. To all those in ECUSA suffering from the terrible trauma of watching your church disintegrate, I extend my sympathies and prayers. And to those seeking peace and a place of spiritual refuge, I invite you to consider the Orthodox Church. Finally, to those who have already made the decision to enter Orthodoxy, I say welcome home and Many Years!

Hat tip to Fr. Huneycutt.
