We were planning the same supper! Except on the way there, we began leaking coolant at an alarming rate and took our car to the nearest repair garage instead, then caught a cab home and ate leftovers from Sunday...

Dang! I was thinking of a perfectly grilled steak, with lightly sauteed crimini mushrooms and a liberal [sic] sprinkling of bleu cheese.

Or an avocado, pear and brie omelet accompanying a pork tenderloin.
Hmmm, I went home and made some Brunswick Stew out of smoked pork picnic and had a pulled pork BBQ sandwich and stew. Mmmm, good!!
I have settled upon what I maintain are the perfect condiments for an omelet: bacon and feta cheese. Happy Bright Week to all.
