The Queen Reportedly Opposes Politically Correct Changes To Honours

The Queen will resist any attempts to remove the word “Empire” from awards such as the OBE or CBE, it has been suggested.

Reports claimed that she wants to put off any change until Prince Charles becomes King.

A campaign is underway, supported by Labour, to replace “Empire” with “Excellence” in the titles of the honours because it was a “jingoistic relic” of Britain’s colonial past.
