I think we've found Trump's VP. We need more like him!
I’ve never heard of the guy before. Watched the video. Ok, a somewhat amusing rant , makes a few good points (but most of his targets are easy to hit; shooting ducks in a barrel) Looked him up on YouTube. Ol’ Pat’s core belief seems to be in “Western (secular) values” … better than Islam to be sure ,but no friend to Christianity . His self-description on YouTube:
“GODLESS AND FREE . Former stand-up comedian. I make videos advocating secularism, democracy, and free speech.”
Some of his other video’s include “The Great Jesus Swindle: The greatest Lie every told” , “The trouble with Christianity” , “Godless Christmas” , “Your Faith is a joke” , “God the Psycho” , the usual atheist swill …
True enough. Pat is an atheist. And for the most part liberalism is a target rich environment for satire.
It was an amusing rant, and I was aware of his anti-Christian bona fides already.
Funny as it was, though, I'm really not on board with the underlying sentiment; I'll vote for this thing I hate just to spite you. It's just more of the same unreasoning emotivism turned in a different direction.
Yeah, I'm not voting for Trump. In all likelihood I am going to stay home on election day for the first time since I cast my first vote for Ronald Reagan back in 1984.
John, my grandfather who was politically active in England always said,"If you don' vote, they'll take it away" in reference to our right to vote. It is your duty to vote; not just so you have a right to complain, but as your assigned duty as a citizen and to the rest of us.
All atheists are a bit screwy but so is everyone. Pat is that much more rational than most people and is enraged by what he sees. And I see what he sees, many of us do. Thanks for the video, it's great.
John
