Eat Less Red Meat, Scientists Said. Now Some Believe That Was Bad Advice.

The evidence is too weak to justify telling individuals to eat less beef and pork, according to new research. The findings “erode public trust,” critics said.

My take... a hundred years from now we are all going to be fertilizing a well manicured lawn somewhere. Obsessing about this sort of thing is pointless. All things in moderation and enjoy life.

I am told that archeologists find that pre-agricultural mankind was a bit taller, had excellent teeth & a family produced a kid about every four years. Then came the ice-age & farming. Agricultural mankind turned out to be a bit shorter, had families with eleven kids, & had poor or no teeth.

I would suggest that much of what is reported as "scientists say" is spun with the reporter's biased agenda and the underlying real "science" much more nuanced and ambiguous.
