This is not news. The Catholic Church on the mainland has been under the supervision of the State Administration for Religious Affairs for years. You can bet that sermons are pretty straight-jacketed by PRC dogma.
What's news is the lack of outcry. When the Chicoms imprisoned Roman Catholic priests in the 1950s, there was a huge public outcry in the Western world. Now, even the Vatican doesn't seem to care.
Vatican care? Considering the likes of Uncle Teddy were instrumental in kowtowing to the chicoms, all they care about is money.
