This is really bad... even for San Francisco.

OK. If the title did not serve as adequate warning then let me be blunt. The linked article below is NOT for the faint of heart or weak of stomach.
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence now use Most Holy Redeemer Parish Hall (beneath the church) for their monthly Revival Bingo.

Here's the listing for the next event. (scroll down to graphic)

Here's an article describing the fun, including prizes of porn dvd's and sex toys.

Here's the Sisters' own description with graphics.

And here's some info on "Peaches Christ", guest host for the "Bare Chest Bingo" event on November 2nd. (Read her/his bio, s/he is a direct descendant of Christ)
The original post contains links to web sites which I refuse to post on A/O. All I can say is that the Roman Catholic Church has sunk very low indeed to allow this sort of thing on church ground. It is simply appalling. Does anyone have B16’s private number? It’s definitely time to drop the dime on this craziness.

The original post with links can be found here.

Warning: The sites linked in the original post are graphic.

So, if I find an Orthodox parish or priest that 'allows' similar thigns, should I condemn in toto the Orthodox Church? I came upon this info on Mark Shea's blog and most Catholics are just as upset.

I would be stunned if you found an Orthodox parish that allowed anything remotely like this. That said, the possibility of an aberation is always there. The problem is that while this is admittadly an extreme example, it is emblamatic of a problem that generally does not exist on our side of the fence. I am not trying to be holier than thou. We have our own issues. But the Latin Church in many parts of the world does not seem to know what it is about anymore. In some places (the above example) it seems to have gone off the deep end.

No doubt the church justifies it because some of the proceeds go to charity. Even the devil pays his tithes!

Problem has been solved due to outraged Catholics. Carry on with your finger pointing.

I am delighted to hear it. However, I fear you might have misconstrued my post. It was not so much finger pointing as it was shock at inappropriate behavior being permitted in a church. It would seem from other sources that news of this activity did indeed provoke a small storm of protest from Roman Catholics. I find that very encouraging.
